Established in 2003, Aldea Daycare is a bilingual, safe, beautiful haven in which children learn, grow, and play through organic experiences and hands-on learning activities.
Aldea Daycare was born out of a passion for children and their early development.
Established in 2003, Aldea Daycare has been a safe, beautiful haven in which children
experience hands-on learning activities, manipulate natural materials such as sand, wood, and natural fabrics; engage in dramatic play, gardening, learn basic academic skills such as letters, numbers, shapes, colors identification (in both languages), and organically learn to speak Spanish.
We take pride in curating a curriculum that truly promotes bilingualism, as it has been proven to enhance the complexity of brain architecture, early literacy, reading comprehension, and eventually make adults more competitive in the labor market. Aldea Daycare has a unique approach to caring for children. This approach includes not only ensuring their safety and meeting their physical needs but also identifying their zone of proximal development and promoting more effective learning from one another.

OUR PHILOSOPHY
Aldea Daycare is proud to promote a safe, clean, fun environment in which learning becomes organic. We firmly believe that children learn best when they are free from stress, feel safe, and are met at their current level of learning.
A very important factor that sets our daycare apart from similar spaces is that we believe in the tremendous benefits that children gain from learning the Spanish language and eventually becoming bilingual. Residing in Los Angeles, a great part of our lives involves engaging with Spanish speakers. Since Spanish is a Latin-based language, our children are exposed to many Latin-based words and phrases even before entering grade school; having a solid background in Spanish increases their literacy and comprehension levels compared to students who may not have had exposure to a foreign language.
Aldea Daycare considers the safety of children our top priority while ensuring that our kids are having fun, building social skills, learning to problem solve, and reaching their learning potential is what makes us a high-quality daycare experience that both children and parents will love.
